In 2018, the Croatian non-governmental organization K-zona developed an innovative social card game called "Neustrašne ženske" (Fierce Women), which familiarizes participants with the achievements of women in the fields of culture, politics, science, feminism, human rights, and art. This entertaining, educational, and socially engaging card game allows you to address the issue of gender equality in the classroom or at home. K-zona also prepared 16 suggestions for educational activities using the cards.
In Slovenia, the cards are available for purchase at City of Women, which, as part of the Women on Women project, collaborated with partners to create an additional free set of playing cards called "Neustrašne ženske WoW," featuring "fierce" women from Slovenia.
The texts on both sets of cards are in English, but you can download Slovenian translations in PDF format to your computer. The translations were provided by Jedrt Lapuh Maležič, and Maja Sužnik performed the language review. In the translation of the materials, we use the grammatical feminine gender as a generic, inclusive grammatical gender. It addresses educators and students of all genders.
