Women on Women Awards Ceremony

At the City of Women Association, we are awarding the Women on Women prizes for the sixth time. Last year, the awards went to writer Dijana Matković, professor and sociologist Sonja Lokar, director Tjaša Črnigoj, writer and translator Tea Hvala, and the collective Rejv Utopija.

Upon receiving the award, Sonja Lokar said: "Everywhere else, people are afraid to talk about the fact that creativity is inherently political. But when you create something new, you challenge existing structures, and that is never something that earns you flowers first—stones come first."

This year's five award recipients will be announced on March 6 at 7 PM at Klub Monokel, AKC Metelkova.
The awardees are selected by a jury composed of last year's winners.
