Irena Tomažin
Irena Tomažin is a dancer, singer and philosopher who works in experimental theatre and music. Her works have been the subject of analysis by Bojana Kunst (“The Voice of the Dancing Body”) and her writing on voice has been published in several art publications. She has released three albums: Crying Games (2011), Taste of Silence (2014) and Lump in the Throat (2019). Her work is a continuous exploration of the non-linguistic voice as a tool for physical performance. She has collaborated with Janez Janša, Tino Sehgal, Mala Kline, Christian Kesten and Josephine Evrard, among others. She teaches the voice workshop series The World is Sound in Berlin.
