Audience Development and Working with Vulnerable Groups

Presenting high-quality artistic works is one of the core missions of the City of Women association, which is why we dedicate significant attention to finding ways to bring the work of selected female authors to the right audience. At the same time, we actively involve various vulnerable groups in our projects. Over the past years, these collaborations have taught us valuable lessons and brought to light certain production-related challenges.

In this workshop, we will address: the specifics of cultural marketing; mapping target audiences; designing promotional strategies; promotional channels and formats; partnering with collaborators; ensuring year-round community presence; presenting the organization to key target groups; and actively involving these groups in projects (using City of Women practices as examples).
