Veronika Tašner

Veronika Tašner is a teaching assistant for sociology of education at the Department of Education Studies of the Faculty of Education, University of Ljubljana. She studies meritocracy and education, fairness and equality in education, gender and education, and the future of education. She is the (co)author of numerous monographs and academic articles on education. She has considerable experience with running workshops (expert trainings) on equal opportunities for boys and girls in education and the role of political institutions, institutional mechanisms and everyday practice in implementing equal opportunities. She is also the author of several texts and the accompanying study to the book The Unforgettable: The Women Pushing the Boundaries of Our World.
