Pretty Loud

Pretty Loud is a music band consisting of Elma Dalipi, Selma Dalipi, Dijana Ferhatović, Živka Ferhatović, Zlata Ristić, and Silvia Sinani. These young women, aged between 14 and 27, met at workshops at the GRUBB centres in Belgrade and Niš (Serbia). GRUBB centres are dedicated to the long-term social integration of the Roma youth in Serbia and Europe. Their innovative approach, blending education, arts, culture, and social enterprises, has won them the first prize for Roma integration in Serbia (2017), awarded by the European Union. In 2021, Pretty Loud won the ELLE Award for Activism. Their video for Ravnopravno (Equally), a song calling for an end to violence against women, has won the Muzzik Video Award for “best video with a message”.
