Pogovor
Chantal Akerman je umetnica, ki jo
je nemogoče umestiti v poenostavljeni
kritični okvir. Skozi nekaj njenih del –
prvi, najpomembnejši in zadnji film ter
instalacije – bomo razpravljali o njeni
osebnosti, ustvarjanju v polju filma in
vizualnih umetnosti, odnosu do uporabe in
reprezentacije časa, odnosu do vsakdanjega
življenja in zapletenem odnosu subjekta do
okolja, v katerem živi.
Zelo smo veseli, da se nam bo ob tej
priložnosti pridružila Claire Atherton, njena
dolgoletna sodelavka in montažerka.

Talk
Chantal Akerman is an artist impossible to ascribe in a simplistic critical framework. Through the vision of a few of her works, the first, the emblematic and the last movie as well as her installation work, we will discuss her figure, her work both in cinema and visual arts, her relation to the use and representation of time, to everyday life and the complex relation of the subject to its surroundings.
